FINGERPRINT SUPPORT RALLY FIZZLES

David Trahan's aide says the "official" parent/supporter count at the
rally was actually five, after discounting legislators and DOE personnel.
I wasn't sure I was at the right time or location as I approached the State
House. The parking garage had lots of empty spaces, there was no booming
speaker, and when I came around the corner of the building within sight of
the steps, there were more camera tripod supports than fingerprinting law
supporters. My heart soared.

They began about 4:40 and were done by 5:00 (the rally was billed in the
paper as 4:30 - 6:30.)
